Femininity is a verb
It is not what you are. It is what you do — the small daily practices that keep the channel open.
We describe femininity as a noun — an essence, a quality, a state. That framing is why so many women feel they either have it or they do not.
Try the verb form. To feminine. To slow the pace of your morning. To receive a compliment without adjusting it. To let a friend finish the sentence you already know the end of. To dress for your own reflection.
Femininity is the sum of a hundred small daily returns. You do not achieve it. You practice it.
Miss a day and nothing breaks. Miss a season and the channel narrows. Return, and the channel widens again. It is that forgiving.
