Writing your own definition of femininity

A one-sentence prompt to end the borrowed conversation once and for all.

Sit down with one sentence: Femininity, for me, is... Finish it in your own words. Not in words you have read.

The first draft will be borrowed. That is fine. Write it anyway. Then cross out every word that sounds like a magazine. Whatever remains is closer to yours.

Do this once a season for a year. You will watch your definition sharpen. It will get shorter. It will get more embodied. It will stop needing to be defended.

By the fourth pass, you will have a private, uncoachable sentence that governs how you dress, who you date, and what you refuse. That sentence is the whole point.
