Reclamation is not going backward
You are not trying to become the girl you were before you had to armor up. You are becoming the woman she could not have imagined.
The mistake is thinking that reclaiming your femininity means returning to who you were before life required the armor. That woman is gone, and she should be. She could not have carried what you carry now.
Reclamation is forward movement. It is integrating the strength you built with the softness you had to shelve, in a new configuration that neither the old version nor the current version can access on her own.
This is a third woman. She is unfamiliar. She is calmer than you are. She is stronger than the girl was. She is not busy proving anything.
You are building her. Not returning to a previous edition. Do not miss the actual project by mourning the wrong one.
