When hormones are a symptom, not a cause

Sometimes the body is not broken. It is reporting on a life the mind refuses to change.

The endocrine system does not exist in a vacuum. It responds to sleep, to stress, to relationships, to whether you feel safe in your own home.

So when a woman's hormones are dysregulated, the labs will confirm it — but the labs will not tell her why. That answer is upstream, in the life the body is trying to survive.

Chase the biology and you will medicate a message. Change the life and the biology recalibrates faster than any protocol will admit.

Both are true. Get the labs. Do the work. But stop hoping the labs will let you off the hook for the harder conversation.
