How did that suppress your feminine energy?

Every time you had to become the man in the room to stay safe, a part of your femininity went underground. Reclamation is calling it back up by name.

Suppression is not a single event. It is a slow accumulation of moments in which your softness was unsafe, so your body chose the harder shape.

The boss who talked over you until you learned to interrupt. The father who mocked your tears until you learned not to cry. The partner whose needs were louder, so yours went silent. Each moment was a small trade — femininity for safety.

The trade made sense at the time. It is important to say that. You were not weak for making it. You were surviving.

But the trade has an expiration date. What kept you safe at 16 is now what keeps you exhausted at 36. Reclaiming your femininity is not a rejection of the woman who armored up. It is a thank-you to her, followed by a request that she stand down.
