The toxic masculinity you live inside

It is not just something men do. It is the operating system most of us were raised inside of, women included.

Toxic masculinity is not a group of specific men. It is a default setting — a cultural operating system that rewards dominance, mocks vulnerability, and treats rest as failure.

Everyone lives inside of it. Women who never dated a man learned it from their fathers, from their bosses, from the shape of ambition. It is in the water.

This is why so much of the work of feminine reinvention is subtraction, not addition. Before you can add softness, you have to notice how much toxic masculinity you have internalized and started calling personality.

Once you see it, you cannot un-see it. And once you cannot un-see it, you can stop obeying it.
